Well, that's a thingie I got from miss ~Sphynxia 's diary, which basically goes as following. I feature ten artists I with a few favorite images from each gallery.

Originally, it was a fairly democratic process, where people had to sign up for this, and put the same thingie in their profile, but I tweak it a little, since barely anyone read my journal. So I will feature ten people here on dev whose art I like. And hopefully they will also put this up. But I'm not going to wait for anyone to answer that 'yeah, you can feature me'.

(If anyone really WANTS to be featured though - feel free to throw me a note )

(Below artists are in random order. xD)

1. - She is much the same as me when it comes to taking pictures - taking a lot and picking out those few that end up great. That's why I choose to feature her - and because some of her gallery is very damn good!

Feat image: [link] - Skate (One of her best pictures I think. I love the frozen-moment effect of it)

2. - One would think that a person with soon 50,000 pageviews shouldn't need any more publicity, but I really can't let this one go unnoticed. I have a thing for that kind of art. There's something Mark Rydenish over it. xD

Feat image: [link] - Dollhouse (It's a doll. Dolls are spooky, and somehow utterly fascinating. )
Feat image: [link] - Selene Le Rouge (I have no idea if the girl in this painting is a Succubus, a part of the fairy host or something else.. and I don't care. If I saw her, I'd follow. xD)
Feat image: [link] - Melinda the Boo Keeper (I don't know why - that picture cheers me up. xD And of course, it is an amazing drawing. xD)

3. - I am normally not a big fan of cosplay model-thingie-deal. However, miss Rasmirin does such an amazing job, that I just have to feature some of her stuff.

Feat image: [link] - Crimson (This is a picture I have in my favorites, and one of the few in her gallery that are not direcrly cosplay. But it is fucking amazing! )
Feat image: [link] - Jessica Rabbit (I am always amazed how people can convert cartoon characters to real life like that... And this is really an awesome conversion.)
Feat image: [link] - I am NOT an Opera floozy (I am a great fan of final fantasy series, and especially final fantasy 6. As such I had to include this. I actually used that picture as a base for a drawing of my own once, but I have to admit that Miss Rasmirin looks far better than my drawing of Celes Chere. xD)
4. - This here is one of my best friends in real life, and a fan of abstract works. While not being much into abstract myself, I figured that I should give a representation of several different styles in this feature-deviant-thingie. So here it goes.

Feat image: [link] - Angel (I really like this image since it is meant as an answer to the word "negative" and indeed transforms my utterly unangelic friend into something else entirely. Of course, it is also amusing because as negative reverses colors, so does the 'angel' reverse my friend's true nature. )
Feat image: [link] - Red Bed of Fed Wed (The name doesn't mean anything. I assure you. This is one of the few abstract images I actually like in his gallery, so I have to include it. )
Feat image: [link] - Flarenova in outer work (I feel really calm looking at that image, and I can definately imagine myself hanging it on the wall of my bedroom to look at in order to relax before falling asleep. Very good image!)
5. - I've known her for quite some time, and admittedly, whenever I see her drawings and paintings I want to give up drawing myself, simply because she is effortlessly so much better than me. I guess that is what people call talent.

Feat image: [link] - Emily (I have no idea where this comes from - I guess from some japanese anime or song or somesuch. But I really do enjoy the image. )
Feat image: [link] - Kamijo (I am distressed by the fact that the artist refers to the person depicted on the picture as a "he", but other than that, the painting is in my opinion excellent.)
Feat image: [link] - Beast of Blood Mana (It's dark, it's pretty. I have little else to say. )
6. - I think her last activity on deviant was sometime in 2005 - but I still enjoy looking through her gallery now and then.

Feat image: [link] - The Mourning Victorian Lady 2 (I have a thing for victorian imagery, I have a thing for clean lineart, I have a thing for sad pictures - and most of all, I have a thing for ladies. That picture fulfills all those criterias and therefore is featured here. xD)
Feat image: [link] - Gothic Modelling 5 (Yes, I also have a thing for gothic imagery. So MEH! )
Feat image: [link] - Victorian Bondage (I really don't have to explain why I like that one, do I?)
7. - This is a newly found acquantance of mine who is amazingly good at drawing. Hence, she is featured.

Feat image: [link] - In Rock (It's a simple logo. Really. At least one would think so until one has to design it. All in all, simple, clean and very cool.))

Update again. My gf left me. Again.

I made the stupid fucking mistake of showing her that I was more afraid of loosing her than she was afraid of loosing me.

Learn from my mistakes kiddies. -_-

As such, my psyche is shot to shit, along with my health (due to an attempt to fix my psyche with a very Russian medicine - namely booze).

This also explains why I have sort of ditched deviant for a while - got some other things to think about. I will of course return, stronger than ever, etc.. but I have no idea when. -_-;

Just a quick update. xD

Well, guess all good things must come to an end. My girlfriend for the past one and a half year decided yesterday that it was time to move on. And while not unexpected, it was still an experience I could have gone without.

Still though, we remain good friends, so I guess it is alright.

On a lighter note, I have taken quite a lot of pictures in Croatia, some of them even deviantworthy. So I am looking forward to come home and fix up some photos now. Also, since I am single, I will have more time to waste on all kind of artsy crap.. So at least my dev gets a bit more attention, heh.

Wee! I'm going away on vacation. To Croatia. For ten days. So, if you thought I was inactive before, I will be even more so now.

I'll try to take some dev-worthy pics while there though.

BTW - Something is wrong with the world. Russia actually plays decent soccer... It's about as unlikely as flying pigs.
